For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isiaiah 9:6

Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful year. We hope you enjoyed the End of Year Presentation Events as we celebrated special achievements with our students.

Thanks to our parents/guardians who have partnered with us in educating your children. It’s been a pleasure!

Thank you to the students for applying yourselves to your studies and for being part of our wonderful College community.

Thank you to the staff who have worked so hard this year and who are all looking forward to a well-deserved break.

We hope you have a fabulous holiday break, and look forward to seeing you again on 3 February 2020 to do it all over again!

We often have families that are in need of items and it’s great to have stock on hand if they are struggling financially. Just drop uniform into the Front Office.

End of Year Reports

Reports have been emailed home to families in the last week. We had a technical glitch with Primary reports which means you may not have received your child/ren’s reports in an email. Please log into the Sentral Parent Portal to view reports there.

Equipment Lists for 2020

Equipment Lists were emailed home this week, and paper copies were also given to students. It’s important that parents of Year 9 & 10 parents know their child’s electives (two) and that Year 11 & 12 parents have their child’s subjects before ordering online. Text books must be offered through OfficeMax Online. Please check the details emailed, or alternatively you can view Equipment Lists on the website.

Kindy & Pre-Primary parents are charged a levy, and all stationery/equipment is provided to students in the classroom.

Fees & Levy Information will be emailed by the end of this week.

Enrolments for 2020

If you know of families who might be interested in enrolling their children at the College for 2020, we do have availability in most classes. They can email enrolments@scc.wa.edu.au to enquire about availability, or to request enrolment packs.

Well done Pre-Primaries. Your servant hearts are a blessing!

Overseas Student Exchange

(or HOSTING)

OVERSEAS STUDENT EXCHANGE OR HOSTING OPPORTUNITY FOR YEAR 9 AND 10 GIRLS

There is an opportunity for current Year 9 or 10 girls to be involved in a Student Exchange with a German student from August-Hermann-Francke Schule, a state-approved Christian private school in Giessen.

This would involve your family hosting a German student (currently 15 years old) for the duration of Term 2 next year, with the return part of the exchange to be completed at a mutually suitable time after that.

This is a program that several of our students have been involved with in the past and is a great learning opportunity and a chance for a student to immerse themselves in another culture.

If you are interested in finding out more information, please email or phone Mr Fletcher sfletcher@scc.wa.edu.au or 9938 9100.

Alternatively, if you do not wish to participate in an exchange but would be willing to host a German student for Term 2, please also contact Mr Fletcher ASAP.

Carols by Candlelight

Carols by Candlelight is on again this coming Sunday 15 December at Maitland Park. The College is a major sponsor of the family fun activities which start at 5.30pm. The Carols will start at 7.00pm. Please come along and celebrate “The Reason for the Season – Jesus”.
