God has equipped each of our students with unique gifts and talents.
Being part of Student Council at the College enables students with a servant heart and leadership abilities to shine. It also provides College staff with opportunities to “equip students for works of service” – part of our Mission Statement.
Over the course of the year, Student Councillors, who are elected by their peers, have opportunities to:
- lead assemblies
- run games/social nights
- attend leadership forums or retreats
- assist with fundraising for worthy causes
- represent the College at Community Events, and
- be excellent role models for all students at the College
Elections for Student Council are normally held in Term 3. Candidates are expected to provide a speech which the students then vote on who they would like for Student Council.
