Primary Swimming Carnival

Primary students in Years 3-6 had a wonderful time at their Swimming Carnival on Wednesday this week.

Congratulations to DANIEL House who were the overall winners on the day. It was great to see everyone enjoying their time in the pool and participating.

Many thanks to all the parents who volunteered to help at the Carnival – we couldn’t run the day without your assistance. Thanks also to staff and the Year 11/12 Outdoor Education students who helped at the pool during the day. Extra special thanks to Mrs Kristen Fenby who did an awesome job of getting everything organised before, and on, the day.

Mrs Anna Hollander very kindly took photos at the pool for us. Some of the images appear below and we have emailed a link to parents to view all of the photos from the day.

Police Visit Pre-Primary

Mrs Brenda Pattenden and our Pre-Primary students had a special visit from the Police today. Two Police Officers came in to collect Thank You cards that the students had made for the local Police.  They wanted to show their appreciation for all the hard work the Police do for us!  Isn’t that so lovely? Well done Pre-Primaries.

Harmony Day 2020

Some of our Year 3/4 and Year 8/9 students will be performing an Indonesian Dance at Harmony Day tomorrow (around 2.45pm). Students have been learning the dance during Indonesian classes with Ibu Khatarina Rahayu.

Testimonials

At the Welcome Feast last week, we caught up with a few parents, alumni and volunteers to ask what makes Strath so special. Here’s what they said …
